American Idol Season 4
As an Ohio native, Scott Savol became a household name back in 2005, Season 4 of American Idol. It was quite an experience to a be part of this phenomenal tv hit reality show when he finished fifth place and joined the top 10 during their 44 city (sold out) summer tour all over the US. The American Idol Showstoppers album, which includes songs from the top 12 Idol contestants, features his single "Against All Odds (Take a Look At Me Now)" and has been certified Gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). They also recorded a single, "When You Tell Me That You Love Me," for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief for the 2004 tsunami victims in Indonesia.
During the AI 2005 Summer Concert, the following were the cities which they toured: Sunrise FL, Tampa FL, Birmingham AL, Duluth GA, Greensboro NC, Reading PA, Toronto ON, E Rutherford NJ, Long Island NY, Philadelphia PA, Wilkes-Barre PA, Washington DC, Hartford CT, Worcester MA, Manchester NH, Cleveland OH, Columbus OH, Detroit MI, St Paul MN, Chicago IL, St Loius MO, Norman OK, Gran Prairie TX, San Antonio TX, Glendale AZ, Las Vegas NV, Los Angeles CA, San Jose CA, Sacramento CA, Everett WA, Portland OR, Salt Lake City UT, Des Moines IA, Green Bay WI, Milwaukee WI. Albany NY, Pittsburg PA, Norfolk VA, Providence RI, Portland ME and Syracuse NY. (July - Sept 2005)

My Dream Come True

"The day I landed in Cleveland will remain in my mind forever. As I stepped off the plane and walked through the airport, I was met by hundreds of screaming fans -- girls crying, people reaching out to touch me and all these banners and signs saying "Scotty, We Love You." But all I saw was my dad, sitting in a wheelchair because of his knee surgery, at the end of the concourse. I walked straight over and hugged him. He cried and squeeze me hard. Then I heard the words I'd been waiting twenty-eight years for: "I missed you, Scott, I love you, son. I'm really proud of you."
